Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGiver's/PCT's/CNA's/HHA's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
We service clients in North Oakland County
Cities we cover include: Auburn Hills, Clarkston, Davisburg, Drayton Plains, Holly, Keego Harbor, Lake Angelus, Lake Orion, Lakeville, Leonard, Oakland, Ortonville, Oxford, Pontiac, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Waterford, West Bloomfield & White Lake.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with grooming & bathing
- Assistance with toileting & incontinence
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ability to transfer a client using gait belt
- Ability to transfer a client using hoyer lift
- Transportation to appointment/errands

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat & care for seniors & their property with dignity & respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner
- Complete fingerprint criminal background check, DMV check & drug screen
- Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license & valid auto insurance (with name on the policy listed as insured driver)
- Must be at least 19 years of age
Wages for this position are up to $12/hr.
